Welcome to Mentigo ("Mentigo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app or website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Mentigo. By using it you confirm you meet this age requirement and that the information you give us is accurate.
Mentigo offers self-guided goals, an AI companion ("your Mentigo"), focus tools, games, and social features to support motivation and productivity. The AI is an automated assistant, not a human, therapist, doctor, or counsellor. Anything it says is for general support only and is not professional advice. You are responsible for decisions you make.
Keep your password secure and don't share your account. You're responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
You keep ownership of what you create (posts, photos, videos, messages). By posting, you give us a licence to store and display it as needed to run the Service. You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the rights to it. You can report content or block users in the app, and you can request removal by contacting us.
Coins, pets, skins, and similar items are virtual, have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable outside the Service. Bets between friends are for fun and use virtual coins only — Mentigo is not a gambling service.
Mentigo may offer a paid Premium plan. If you subscribe, the price and billing period are shown before you pay. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Settings (or via the payment provider's portal); cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. Payments are processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details.
The Mentigo desktop app can, at your request, block distracting websites on your own device during a focus session by adjusting your system's network settings. This only happens when you start a session, is limited to the sites on your blocklist, and is removed when the session ends. You run the app on your own device and choose when to use it.
You can stop using Mentigo and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mentigo is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes arising from reliance on the Service or the AI. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law (including the Australian Consumer Law) that cannot legally be excluded.
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use Mentigo after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts of your state or territory of residence may hear disputes.
